About the ministry

Mission Statement

"In a generation distracted by screens, entertainment, and the relentless pursuit of success—or burdened by the exhausting struggle to provide for daily needs—Solus Christos exists to proclaim that true hope and lasting peace are found in Christ alone. We recognize that busyness, ambition, and poverty can crowd out spiritual growth, leaving families and young people disconnected from the gospel. Our mission is to meet them where they are, cutting through the noise of modern life with the clarity of God’s Word, and guiding them to encounter Jesus personally. We are committed to equipping youth and families to grow in faith, rediscover joy in Christ, and live boldly for His glory, no matter their circumstances."

Doctrinal Statement of Solus Christos Evangelistic Association

The Authority of Scripture

We affirm that the Holy Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. They are the final rule of faith and practice, sufficient for teaching, correction, and training in righteousness. All ministry and missionary activity must be grounded in and governed by the truth revealed in Scripture.

The Centrality of Christ

We affirm that Jesus Christ is the sole mediator between God and humanity, and that salvation is found in Him alone. His life, death, resurrection, and exaltation constitute the foundation of the gospel we proclaim. All evangelistic work must exalt Christ as Lord and Savior, bearing witness to His sufficiency and supremacy.

The Great Commission

We affirm that Christ has entrusted His Church with the mandate to make disciples through going, baptizing, and teaching (Matthew 28:19–20). This commission defines the mission of the Church and directs the purpose of all evangelistic activity. Disciple-making is not merely numerical growth but the intentional formation of believers who live in obedience to Christ and His Word.

The Role of the Holy Spirit

We affirm that the Holy Spirit empowers the Church for witness and mission. He convicts of sin, regenerates hearts, and equips believers with spiritual gifts for service. All missionary endeavors must be carried out in dependence upon the Spirit’s guidance and power, recognizing that true transformation is the work of God alone.

The Goal of Missionary Activity

We affirm that all missionary work must be directed toward the dissemination of biblical truth, leading to salvation and transformation in accordance with God’s revealed will. Evangelism is not an end in itself, but a means by which individuals are reconciled to God through Christ and renewed in heart, mind, and conduct. The legitimacy of our ministry rests in its fruit: genuine conversion, spiritual growth, and conformity to the image of Christ.

The Nature of Discipleship

We affirm that discipleship involves both instruction in sound doctrine and the cultivation of godly character. Believers are called to grow in holiness, love, and obedience, reflecting the life of Christ in their communities. Missionary activity must therefore include teaching, mentoring, and equipping believers to live faithfully in every sphere of life.

The Witness of the Church

We affirm that the Church is the visible body of Christ on earth, called to bear witness to the gospel through word and deed. Missionary work must result in the establishment and strengthening of local churches, where believers gather for worship, fellowship, and service. The Church is both the agent and the fruit of mission, embodying the transformative power of the gospel.

Foundational Testimony and Ministry Statement

Testimony of Calling

As a young believer, I was actively involved in student missions and witnessed firsthand both the testimonies of transformed lives and the great spiritual need present on the mission field. These experiences stirred within me a deep burden to see many more reached with the gospel, especially students in schools. While praying for God to raise up laborers to go and preach, I came under the Spirit’s conviction that I, too, was called to go. After wrestling with fear and timidity, I and my wife chose to trust the Lord’s leading do His will. Reading the life and example of George Müller strengthened my faith, encouraging us to step forward in obedience, relying wholly on God’s guidance, equipping, and provision for His work.

Conviction of Faith and Practice

We resolved to follow the example of George Muller by not raising financial support or making our needs known to others, but instead trusting God alone to sustain the work. This conviction remains central to the ministry of Solus Christos Evangelistic Association. We believe that if God is truly behind the cause, He Himself will be its Sustainer. Our mission is therefore carried out in faith, prayer, and reliance upon Christ alone, bearing witness to His sufficiency and power to provide for the advancement of the gospel.
